Youth Mentorship · Ages 10–18
FPI Global mentors youth ages 10 to 18 who are growing up with one parent. We surround them with trained mentors, real skills, and meaningful opportunities, so that they can discover their passion and build the future they imagine.

We are not simply investing in programs or services. We are investing in people, strengthening families, and helping build a future in which dignity, opportunity, and hope can be passed from one generation to the next.
Why we exist
Many young people grow up without one of their parents. The parent raising them is often working hard, sometimes in more than one job, to keep the family going. These young people do not lack ability or ambition. What they often lack is the extra guidance, encouragement, and opportunity that help a dream become a plan.
That is where FPI Global comes in. We stand beside these young people, and beside the single mothers and fathers raising them, so that no child’s dream is limited by the circumstances of their family.

they gain a trusted adult who believes in them, holds them accountable, and helps them see what is possible.
they begin to see that their circumstances do not have to determine their future.
in learning, money, leadership, and character, their dreams gain a practical path forward.
their whole family is strengthened, and they become leaders who lift others in turn.
“You are not the problem in your family. You are the plan. We will show you how.”
Our mentorship
Our mentorship develops the whole young person: who they are, what they can do, and where they are going.
Trained, screened mentors, including positive father and mother figures, who provide guidance, accountability, and encouragement, and model leadership, discipline, and integrity.
Structured activities that help each young person uncover and develop hidden talents, strengths, and interests, academically, creatively, and entrepreneurially.
Targeted tutoring support for young people who need it, helping them build confidence in the classroom and stay on track for their goals.
Money mindset and responsibility, skill-based income pathways, entrepreneurship, career readiness, and long-term wealth and legacy thinking.
Growth in discipline, responsibility, and purpose, preparing young people to become confident leaders and positive contributors to their communities.
A place where authenticity replaces pretense, confidence replaces fear, and purpose replaces limitation, surrounded by peers who share the journey.
How it works
Step 1
Young people apply, or a parent nominates their child, between October and December 31, 2026.
Step 2
Each small group is matched with two trained mentors, so no young person depends on just one adult.
Step 3
Three short check-ins every week, on a platform where the parent can see every conversation.
Step 4
A five-hour group gathering every month for learning, skill-building, and community.
Step 5
Better grades, a discovered talent, a first earned dollar, a first savings account.

What makes FPI Global different
No young person should be defined by the circumstances of their family. Behind every challenge is a young person with dignity, a story worth understanding, and a future worth investing in.
A young person who seems unmotivated may not lack ability, only the encouragement and opportunity to see their own potential.
A child growing up without a father or a mother may be missing a steady role model, not the will to succeed.
A teenager whose parent works long hours may carry responsibilities beyond their years, and deserves someone in their corner too.
We never replace the parent. We partner with them, standing beside their child so the whole family grows stronger.
We listen before offering solutions and see the person behind every need.
Screened mentors, documented check-ins, and clear standards in everything we do.
Every young person and family is met with respect for who they are.
How we keep youth safe
Our safeguarding standards apply to every mentor, coach, volunteer, and board member who has contact with youth. No exceptions.
Washington State Patrol and national criminal checks plus references for every adult, renewed every two years.
No mentor is ever alone with a youth, in person or on video. Monthly gatherings are always group events.
Check-ins happen on a program platform where parents can see every conversation. No personal numbers or social media.
Every contact is logged with date, duration, and topic, protecting both the young person and the mentor.
Every mentor is trained and documented, with a written escalation path to a named safeguarding lead.
Signed by mentors, youth, and parents, covering gifts, transport, social media, and photography.
Liability and abuse-and-molestation coverage that names mentoring minors and our monthly gatherings.
Parents can raise a concern with a second, independent contact, never only through the mentor it concerns.

Our commitment to future generations
A young person who receives mentorship may grow into a leader who creates opportunity for others. A child raised with encouragement may one day offer that same security to their own children. That is the legacy we are working toward.
The greatest investment we can make in tomorrow is to recognize the value of young people today.
Get involved
Young people, single mothers and fathers, mentors, sponsors, churches, and employers are all welcome. Tell us how you’d like to be involved and we’ll be in touch.

We firmly believe that the internet should be available and accessible to anyone, and are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance and ability.
To fulfill this, we aim to adhere as strictly as possible to the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) at the AA level. These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities. Complying with those guidelines helps us ensure that the website is accessible to all people: blind people, people with motor impairments, visual impairment, cognitive disabilities, and more.
This website utilizes various technologies that are meant to make it as accessible as possible at all times. We utilize an accessibility interface that allows persons with specific disabilities to adjust the website’s UI (user interface) and design it to their personal needs.
Additionally, the website utilizes an AI-based application that runs in the background and optimizes its accessibility level constantly. This application remediates the website’s HTML, adapts Its functionality and behavior for screen-readers used by the blind users, and for keyboard functions used by individuals with motor impairments.
If you’ve found a malfunction or have ideas for improvement, we’ll be happy to hear from you. You can reach out to the website’s operators by using the following email
Our website implements the ARIA attributes (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) technique, alongside various different behavioral changes, to ensure blind users visiting with screen-readers are able to read, comprehend, and enjoy the website’s functions. As soon as a user with a screen-reader enters your site, they immediately receive a prompt to enter the Screen-Reader Profile so they can browse and operate your site effectively. Here’s how our website covers some of the most important screen-reader requirements, alongside console screenshots of code examples:
Screen-reader optimization: we run a background process that learns the website’s components from top to bottom, to ensure ongoing compliance even when updating the website. In this process, we provide screen-readers with meaningful data using the ARIA set of attributes. For example, we provide accurate form labels; descriptions for actionable icons (social media icons, search icons, cart icons, etc.); validation guidance for form inputs; element roles such as buttons, menus, modal dialogues (popups), and others. Additionally, the background process scans all the website’s images and provides an accurate and meaningful image-object-recognition-based description as an ALT (alternate text) tag for images that are not described. It will also extract texts that are embedded within the image, using an OCR (optical character recognition) technology. To turn on screen-reader adjustments at any time, users need only to press the Alt+1 keyboard combination. Screen-reader users also get automatic announcements to turn the Screen-reader mode on as soon as they enter the website.
These adjustments are compatible with all popular screen readers, including JAWS and NVDA.
Keyboard navigation optimization: The background process also adjusts the website’s HTML, and adds various behaviors using JavaScript code to make the website operable by the keyboard. This includes the ability to navigate the website using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys, operate dropdowns with the arrow keys, close them with Esc, trigger buttons and links using the Enter key, navigate between radio and checkbox elements using the arrow keys, and fill them in with the Spacebar or Enter key.Additionally, keyboard users will find quick-navigation and content-skip menus, available at any time by clicking Alt+1, or as the first elements of the site while navigating with the keyboard. The background process also handles triggered popups by moving the keyboard focus towards them as soon as they appear, and not allow the focus drift outside it.
Users can also use shortcuts such as “M” (menus), “H” (headings), “F” (forms), “B” (buttons), and “G” (graphics) to jump to specific elements.
We aim to support the widest array of browsers and assistive technologies as possible, so our users can choose the best fitting tools for them, with as few limitations as possible. Therefore, we have worked very hard to be able to support all major systems that comprise over 95% of the user market share including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera and Microsoft Edge, JAWS and NVDA (screen readers).
Despite our very best efforts to allow anybody to adjust the website to their needs. There may still be pages or sections that are not fully accessible, are in the process of becoming accessible, or are lacking an adequate technological solution to make them accessible. Still, we are continually improving our accessibility, adding, updating and improving its options and features, and developing and adopting new technologies. All this is meant to reach the optimal level of accessibility, following technological advancements. For any assistance, please reach out to
